Burgess and Fraser Confirm Exploratory Merger Discussions
Two of the largest names in superyacht brokerage confirm strategic talks that would reshape the top tier.
Burgess and Fraser have jointly confirmed exploratory discussions regarding a potential merger, in a joint statement issued from Monaco and London. No transaction has been agreed and either party may withdraw.
A combined entity would represent an estimated 22% of the global superyacht sales market above 40 metres, alongside a charter fleet exceeding 180 vessels.
Industry regulators would likely require undertakings on client-fund segregation and central-agency exclusivity to approve any transaction.
