Bénéteau Debuts a Fully-Electric Day Sailer for 2027

Bénéteau has previewed the First 30E — the group's first production sailboat delivered from the yard with a factory-integrated electric saildrive as standard.

Developed in partnership with Oceanvolt, the package pairs a 15 kW motor with a 28 kWh lithium bank, delivering roughly six hours of motoring at cruising speed and useful hydro-regeneration under sail above five knots.

The First 30E goes on sale for the 2027 season alongside the conventional diesel variant, priced at a €18,000 premium.
