Azimut-Benetti Doubles Down on Carbon-Fibre Superstructures
The Italian group extends its carbon-tech programme across four production ranges, targeting 30% weight savings above the waterline.
Azimut-Benetti has confirmed the extension of its carbon-fibre superstructure programme β originally reserved for the Grande and Magellano flagships β to four additional production ranges from the 2027 model year.
The material change delivers a 30% reduction in above-waterline mass, translating into measurable gains in stability, top-end speed, and β critically for hybrid platforms β battery range in silent-mode cruising.
The group's Avigliana composite facility has been expanded to support the volume, with first serial-production hulls entering the water in late 2026.
